It may have taken 5 innings for the Print Shop's bats to wake up, but once they did, they were able to put Hooligans away for good. Playing extremely loose for a team that lost its first two games, this game was way closer than is should have been. The team was happy to welcome back superstar Ryan O'Hare who proceeded to go 4-5 on the day batting in the 10-hole. Dan Witkowski was also 4-6 on the day with a huge grand slam in the 6th inning. In fact the only Weekend Printer player not to score in the 6th inning was OF Randell Sierens who just had one rough day at the plate 0-4 6 men LOB. If we were playing by the new rules, he owes beer.
Game Notes - Mike Garbarino needs sunglasses...and a lesson from Jose Cansaco on how to play the outfield. Kenny Powers was spotted on the bench this week, no idea if he has any plans to return to action.
Next week comes the real test as the team plays the undefeated TUG Excavating. It is also AJ Randisi's birthday week.
